Hello.
If you're looking for a way to save those cracked apps you've downloaded off Installous app, you can actually back up those files in case you're doing a reformat to the iPhone/iPod/iPad (hence called iDevices), so that you don't have to redownload them all over again.
Here's how I do it:
- Download iPhoneBrowser
- Plug in your iDevice using the supplied data cable to your PC (Windows, not sure for Mac)
- Launch iPhoneBrowser
- Navigate to this location
/private/var/mobile/Documents/Installous/Downloads - Inside, you'll see a bunch of files. Back up those *.ipa files only. You can safely ignore the *.png unless you're a perfectionist.
If you're using SSH, you can just simply SSH into your iDevice and simply go to the location marked number 4 above.
I can just use AppSync, right?
AppSync works well if you can even sync your device. But, you need to install AppSync again if you have a fresh reformat before you re-sync everything.

That's about it! If you have questions, feel free to ask away!
