So you wanted to add an Album Art, but you don't want to sign up an iTunes account? Well here's how you can do that, without the hassle of having the account.
This article covers the steps to add Album Art/Covers into your collection of digital music files, so that it can be viewed in your iPod Touch/iPhone (or any other iPod device that supports display of artworks).
The first basic thing you'll need is iTunes. You can download iTunes for free at Apple's site. You don't even have to have an iPod to download iTunes :P . Anyway, you can add album arts to your collection of digital medias by these steps:
Step 1: Open up iTunes.
Step 2: Find the song you wanted to add the album artwork. (Let's just say, the song is "Redneck" by "Lamb Of God", in their album "Sacrament")
Step 3: Next you'll need to find the Album Art for "Sacrament". I usually go to Amazon to find these.
Step 4: Save the image onto your hard drive. Make sure you remember where it is. :)
Step 5: Now, inside iTunes program, you right click on that song, and select "Get Info"
Step 6: Go to the "Artwork" tab, and click "Add...". Now select the image you've previously saved. Click "OK" to save it.
Step 7: Now you can sync your iPod Touch or iPhone. You can do this for any other iPod device that supports artwork.
Enjoy!
P.S: I'm enjoying the CoverFlow of iPod Touch. :P Can't stop my fingers from flicking it.
